I got caught up with work today and didn’t get as far as dinner before 8.30pm. I couldn’t face cooking at that time so headed around the corner to a local takeaway. I was amused to notice what they were watching on the TV while they prepared my grotty burger; none other than Nigella Lawson, presenting her new Nigella Express show. The irony seemed wasted on the proprietors!

I just came across a link which you may enjoy. It’s focusing on the techno-wisdom of Ted Stevens; a US Congressman who’s in charge of regulating “Net Neutrality” in the US. If you’ve ever wondered how the internet works, this may paint a clearer picture for you. Or something…

I was working in Southport the other day. Though I was prepared for it to be a fairly grim place, I was surprised by the high quality of the recreational facilities!!!
