Interesting Unlocked iPhone Discovery

In preparation to use the QuickPWN tool to pwn my iphone, I just upgraded to the 2.0.2 software via iTunes. My phone was previously unlocked on 2.0.1 using a custom firmware generated using the Pwnage Tool from the iPhone Dev Team.

Imagine my surprise when, following the upgrade, my phone was still active and accepting my T-Mobile UK sim card. The Cydia Installer, Installer and related apps have been deleted, but other than that my iPhone is working unlocked! I’m going to leave it be for a while and see if this sticks. I hope so….
