In the hope that it may help point Search Engines in the right direction, I’d like to mention the problems I’ve been having over at AWFulMusic.net. This is a site I built a couple of years ago for my friend Tony Faulkner. Recently, Tony started to have problems accessing his site on his computer. We were convinced that it was actually a problem with his machine but it was still not resolved after he went as far as replacing it!! Therefore I decided to switch Web hosts to somewhere more reliable.

What should have been a fairly simple process has proved to be a bit of a nightmare. I consulted with the existing Host’s (who shall remain nameless to avoid giving them any Googlejuice) “Customer Service” Dept and was advised that I needed to pay a transfer fee for the Domain name and then cancel the hosting account. I did both of these things and now, rather than unlocking the Domain for me to transfer, they’ve simply started ignoring my Customer Service tickets! I’m not best pleased!

Anyway, as a contingency, I’ve temporarily rehosted Tony’s website at his secondary address; TonyFaulkner.net. Hopefully by posting here and a couple of other places around the web I can give enough clues to anyone looking for Tony’s site to be able to find it while I’m sorting out this mess!!
