Falling Off Google.
I was just testing out the Google Mobile service on my mobile phone. As I am prone to doing (in my typical egotistical manner), I searched for my own name; Bryan Davis, and was shocked to discover that, after a good couple of years as #1 result, my personal site has disappeared from the list. Now, fair enough, I have closed the site for maintenance but that was less than 24 hours ago - are the Googlebots really spidering that efficiently?
I suppose I should get on with the redesign of the site post haste. I wonder if I’ll be reintroduced to the Google results in such a timely fashion?
