A Riddle…
Here is a riddle that we puzzled over for a couple of days this week. It was set by Andy Cuss, who had previously left it in his pad in the West End production of ‘Chicago’ for over a year before any of his deps came up with the right answer!
It takes this form:-
The _______ surgeon was _______ to perform the operation because he had _______.
The rules are simple. Each blank contains the same 7 letters in the same order. See if you can come up with the correct sequence that makes sense of the whole sentence.
First person to leave a comment with the correct answer can be safe in the knowledge that they are probably cleverer than me - as I said; it took me 2 days to figure it out.
